BOBBY7.5分标答系列之BAD WEATHER (BOBBY原创)

It’s an interesting topic, you see， once I went to Beijing to visit some of my relatives and it was my first time ever to be there. The city gave me a very good impression when I arrived, high rise buildings, noodles, Beijing roasted duck Great Wall, summer palace and things like that. Every thing was going fine until the third day when we were about to leave and visit one the greatest wonder of the world , the GREAT WALL. We got up pretty early, had our breakfast (and now here is the frustrating part) so when we were about to leave we saw everyone running and shouting, you know like in the movie: “WARS OF THE WORLD” I actually thought that aliens have attacked Beijing, but later we came to notice that the sky was turning yellow and the air speed was increasing.  Then my uncle told me that the weather center had reported that Beijing might face a couple of sandstorms during that week, so there it was as predicted.

Anyway, it was my first time to Beijing and to see a sandstorm, so I got even more excited but all the excitement turned into dust by this sandstorm the visibility almost turned to zero and the winds were strong, had a lot of car accidents and the electricity was cut off for a few hours. After the disaster we went out to have a look and what we found was unbelievable, the whole city was covered with sand and dust, it seemed that we were in the “Gobi Desert”.

It spoiled our trip to Great Wall and effected every one, it was terrible. So that’s the bad weather I have ever faced…
