Position Description

Magnetar Beijing is looking for several highly-motivated and detail-oriented individuals to assist with an important project related to one of our investment strategies. The primary responsibility of the Junior Data Analysts will be to update the data efficiently and accurately for our trading desk in NYC. So work in the night Beijing time (from 8pm to 6am) is required for covering the US trading hours.

Candidates may be asked to travel to the USA periodically for additional training.

Qualified candidates will be paid a

Qualifications

Prospective candidates will be interviewed on company premises, and are expected to meet or exceed the qualifications listed below.

1.
Students from top-tier university in China and graduating in 2011, 2012. Undergraduates in senior year and already received admission to graduate school are preferred.

2.
Excellent proficiency in English language, especially for reading and writing skills.

3.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products is required.

4.
Must be a self-starter and a quick learner.

5.
Must have extraordinary attention to detail.

6.
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
